Schalmont defeated Ichabod Crane 58-38 on the hardwood of Section 2 basketball. Payton Graber was a serious problem on the offensive end for the winners popping in 22 points. Graber became the career scoring leader at Schalmont scoring on a driving layup in the opening quarter.
The Sabres were strong out of the gate and started the game in style racing to a significant first quarter lead 16-4. They used a lock down mentality protecting their basket and grabbed control of the frame.

Schalmont opened up a sizable halftime advantage of 36-13. The Sabres produced as a complete unit in the second frame turning a 12-point first quarter lead into a 23-point halftime edge.

Payton Graber paced the Sabres with 22 points. Karissa Antoine poured in 10 points. Sienna Hallberg tallied 9 points. Haley Burchhardt notched 8 points.
