Troy won in a struggle vs. Burnt Hills 45-39 in what turned out to be a terrific encounter of Capital Region basketball teams. This meeting delivered the goods. Jenalyse Alarcon was a serious problem on the offensive end for the victors going off for 18 points.
Troy generated a game changing eight-minute rally as they ground out a victory versus Burnt Hills 18-9 as time wound down. That spurt ultimately sealed the win.
The Spartans held a small 3-point lead at the beginning of the fourth quarter. This no holds barred match up was headed towards an epic finish through the third period.
Troy held a slim 3-point margin at the beginning of the second stanza.
