Troy won in a struggle vs. Burnt Hills 45-39 in what turned out to be a terrific encounter of Capital Region basketball teams. This meeting delivered the goods. Jenalyse Alarcon was a serious problem on the offensive end for the victors going off for 18 points.

Troy generated a game changing eight-minute rally as they ground out a victory versus Burnt Hills 18-9 as time wound down. That spurt ultimately sealed the win.

The Spartans held a small 3-point lead at the beginning of the fourth quarter. This no holds barred match up was headed towards an epic finish through the third period.

Troy held a slim 3-point margin at the beginning of the second stanza.

The two squads struggled to grab a foothold as the teams went to the first half locker room break with Troy nudging ahead.

The Spartans put forth a team first approach that provided a spark out of the break, after being behind at the half, which helped them capture the lead 30-27 moving on to the fourth period.

Jenalyse Alarcon led Troy with 18 points. Nadia Brown contributed 12 points. Jakaiya Dewer totaled 8 points. Makya Chapman accumulated 5 points.
The Flying Horses shot with first-rate accuracy from the the line as they made 69.2%, 18 of 26.

Ella Blesi paced Burnt Hills with 13 points. MK Lescault registered 8 points. Callie Chevalier added 8 points.
The Spartans knocked down 5 trifectas.
