The Garnet Raiders lost against Albany by 4 points, 65-61, in what turned out to be a terrific encounter of Section 2 basketball teams. Nevaeh House was an offensive force for the Falcons going off for 19 points.
Albany stormed out of the locker room and played excellent team basketball on their way to an ample first quarter lead 20-14.
The outcome was still in limbo as the teams went to the first half locker room break with Albany out in front.
Albany capitalized on gritty play in the third quarter and outscored Colonie by 4 points.
