Schalmont tipped Catholic Central 46-30 in a top notch (518) hoop meeting. Both teams gave every bit of effort they had in a game that was closer than final score may indicate. Payton Graber was an offensive force for the Sabres leading the way with 18 points.
The Crusaders were outscored 24-13 at the half. Schalmont played sound basketball in the second stanza turning a 5-point first quarter lead into a 11-point halftime advantage.
The teams put on a defensive clinic in the fourth quarter as they combined for only 11 points.
