Holy Names slipped past Cohoes 36-35 in a high caliber Capital Region basketball match up.

Holy Names used a fourth quarter comeback as they out-shot Cohoes 10-8 as time wound down. That burst enabled them to celebrate the outcome.

Cohoes held a modest 1-point edge at the beginning of the fourth quarter. This grudge match kept fans on the edge of their seats through the third quarter.

The two squads struggled to grab a foothold as the teams went to the first half intermission with Cohoes gaining the upper hand.

Mia Farley paced Holy Names with 13 points. Morgan Taylor racked up 10 points. Cassandra Paul netted 4 points. Lauren Ladopoulos tallied 4 points.

Olivia Huneau led Cohoes with 15 points. Jenaya Smith contributed 7 points. Shea Bryant totaled 5 points. Quincy Hytko sank 4 points. Madison Huneau chalked up 4 points.
The Tigers shot with superb accuracy from the charity stripe as they produced 66.7%, 14 of 21.
