Mechanicville tripped up Saratoga Catholic 62-27 on the hardwood of Section 2 basketball.
The Red Raiders used a monster second half as they pulled away for the decisive win.
Mechanicville stormed out of the locker room and played excellent team basketball on their way to a nice first quarter lead 20-3. They relied on their stout defense and seized momentum in the period.

The Red Raiders dominated the first half and led 28-11.
Mechanicville were benefitted by a robust performance in the third quarter and outscored Saratoga Catholic by 12 points.
Mechanicville were on top at each quarter buzzer by plus 17, 17, 29, & 35.
Amy DiSiena paced the Red Raiders with 15 points. Maddie Shakow poured in 13 points. Chloe Goverski had 9 points. Hailey Phelps accumulated 8 points.
Ryleigh Dempsey led the Saints with 10 points. Kara Wengert registered 5 points. Katie Cronin poured in 5 points. Allison Motler totaled 4 points. Megan Connell sank 3 points.
