Burnt Hills fell to Colonie by 5 points, 47-42, in a marquee (518) hoop cage match.
The Garnet Raiders held a slight 4-point advantage at the start of the fourth quarter. This duel felt like a clash of the titans through the third period.
Both teams scratched and clawed to score the ball in the opening quarter as they combined for merely 14 points.
The end result was still uncertain as the teams went to the first half locker room break with Colonie out in front.
