Berne-Knox escaped with a victory over Voorheesville 60-52 in a fixture that most fans presumed would end with the culmination of two well coached teams clawing for every point. Alexis Wright played expectionally well on the attacking side of the floor for the Bulldogs leading the way with 28 points.
The Bulldogs were strong out of the gate and started the game in style racing to an ample first quarter lead 23-8. Yet, Voorheesville perked up in the second quarter and outscored Berne-Knox by 5 points.
The Bulldogs used a determined effort in the third quarter and outscored Voorheesville by 12 points.
