Greenville defeated Taconic Hills 64-31 in a Patroon Conference basketball match up.
The Spartans were strong out of the gate and sprinted out to an ample first quarter lead 19-1. They relied on their stout defense and were in the drivers seat throughout the period.
Greenville jumped out to a comfortable margin at the break 37-8. The Spartans played solid as a rock in the second period turning a 18-point first quarter lead into a 29-point halftime advantage.
The Spartans managed to be ahead at each period ending horn by splits of (+) 18, 29, 32, & 33.
Trey Smith led the Spartans with 14 points. Cody Thompson netted 8 points. Liam Bowden had 8 points.
