Bishop Gibbons narrowly held off Bishop Maginn 74-66 in the Coaches versus Cancer event at the Fulton Montgomery Community College. Nate Wylie and Josh Pigliavento combined to score 48 points for the winners.
The Golden Knights played sound basketball in the first half going into the break with a 9-point halftime edge.
The Golden Knights had a trio in double figure scoring. Nate Wylie led Bishop Gibbons with 28 points. Josh Pigliavento collected 20 points. Esiasyn Starr scored 18 points.
