The Golden Knights fell to the Tigers by 13 points, 70-57, in a first-rate Capital Region basketball collision. Royal Brown and Shamir Fairley combined to score 57 points for the winners.

Cohoes stormed out of the locker room and started the game in style racing to a nice first quarter lead 24-14.

The Tigers found themselves in a great position at the midway point ahead 43-24. Cohoes played sound basketball in the second stanza turning a 10-point first quarter lead into a 19-point halftime bulge.

The Tigers were in front at every period ending horn by plus 10, 19, 16, & 13.

Bishop Gibbons produced a rally in the second half but they ran out of time.

Royal Brown paced the Tigers with 36 points. Shamir Fairley poured in 21 points. Ramere Brown tallied 8 points.
Cohoes knocked down 4 baskets from behind the three point line.

The Golden Knights had a trio of players in double figure scoring. Nate Wylie led Bishop Gibbons with 23 points. Esiasyn Starr secured 17 points. Josh Pigliavento added 10 points. Dequawn Gheen tallied 7 points.
The Golden Knights produced 4 trifectas.
