The Silver Warriors lost against the Braves by 8 points, 38-30, in a premier non-league match up played today.
The Braves were strong out of the gate and sprinted out to a significant first quarter lead 15-2. They put together an impressive effort guarding the hoop and imposed their will in the quarter.

The Braves dominated the first half and led 25-5. The Braves played sound basketball in the second quarter turning a 13-point first quarter lead into a 20-point halftime advantage.
The Silver Warriors used a determined effort in the third quarter and outscored Fonda by 4 points.

The offenses clicked in the fourth quarter as they generated a high octane 26 points. Niskayuna bounced back in the final quarter but the clock wasn't on their side.
Fonda were in control at each quarter buzzer by margins of 13, 20, 16, & 8.
Kieonna Christmas paced the Braves with 10 points, 10 rebounds,4 steals and 2 blocks. Lyndsay Lombardoni poured in 7 points. Kayla Smith totaled 6 points. Carly Atty finished with 5 points. Marilyn Whitcavitch chalked up 5 points.
Heather Schmidt led Niskayuna with 16 points. Olivia O Meally secured 6 points. Kathleen Birmingham finished with 5 points.
