Albany Academy beat Cobleskill 75-18 in Colonial Council hoop action. Saige Randolph played expectionally well on the attacking side of the floor for the winners stepping up big-time with 22 points.
The Bears maximized their potential in the second half as they pulled away for the decisive win.
Albany Academy used an impressive first eight minutes and darted in front to gain a significant first quarter lead 14-6. They used a lock down mentality protecting their basket and imposed their will in the quarter.
Albany Academy maximized their play in the third quarter and outscored Cobleskill by 19 points.
The Bears were in control at each quarter stoppage by plus 8, 23, 42, & 57.
Albany Academy placed five players in double figure scoring. Saige Randolph paced the Bears with 22 points. Meleena Ottati netted 15 points. Erin Huban totaled 12 points. Calleigh Boord popped in 11 points. Sadia Temple powered in 10 points.
