Stillwater slipped past Hoosic Valley 64-59 in a contest that most local experts presumed would be a showdown of two quality teams. Thomas McDonough was a walking bucket for the Warriors popping in 24 points. Stillwater rode the coattails of their unwavering second half play as they led at the end of the third quarter and at the final whistle.

Stillwater held a slim 2-point margin going into the second frame.

The end result was still uncertain as the teams went to the first half break with Hoosic Valley out in front.
The Indians played well in the second stanza turning a 2-point first quarter deficit into a 2-point halftime edge.

Stillwater utilized excellent teamwork out of intermission, in the wake of their first half deficit, and took the lead 47-37 heading towards the fourth period.

Hoosic Valley bounced back in the final quarter but they ran out of time.

Stillwater had a triad in double figure scoring. Thomas McDonough paced the Warriors with 24 points. Lukas Lilac powered in 14 points. CJ McNeil netted 10 points. Jaxon Mueller dropped 8 points.
Stillwater buried 10 hoops from long range.
Thomas McDonough nailed 6 three-pointers.

Hoosic Valley had a quartet of players in double figure scoring. Isaiah Eckler led Hoosic Valley with 20 points. Chris Jones netted 14 points. Tyler Eddy had 14 points. Landon Reilly accumulated 11 points.
Hoosic Valley produced 10 hoops from behind the arc.
Isaiah Eckler made 6 three-pointers. Tyler Eddy added 4.
