Bethlehem narrowly held off Shaker 59-49 in a hard fought (518) hoop tilt. Fans were treated to a pulse pounding game. Ellie Cerf led the winners with 20 points.
The Eagles fired on all cylinders right from the jump and played excellent team basketball on their way to a decent first quarter lead 14-7. They put together an imposing effort guarding the hoop and grabbed control of the frame.
The Eagles used a determined effort in the third quarter and outscored Shaker by 7 points.
