Burnt Hills dropped Niskayuna 56-40 in an exciting Section 2 basketball match up. This final result was anything from a forgone conclusion for the majority of the game.

Burnt Hills held a slight 3-point advantage at the start of the second quarter.

The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half break with Burnt Hills nosing in front.

Burnt Hills used a determined effort in the third quarter and outscored Niskayuna by 9 points.

The Spartans managed to be ahead at each period ending horn by leads of 3, 3, 12, & 16.

Burnt Hills had a quartet of players in double figure scoring. Callie Chevalier paced Burnt Hills with 15 points. Carlie Rzeszotarski secured 14 points. Mary Katherine Lescault collected 11 points. Grace O Connor tallied 10 points.
Burnt Hills drilled 6 baskets from behind the three point line.
The Spartans shot with first-rate accuracy from the the line as they produced 87.5%, 14 of 16.
