La Salle nosed past Ichabod Crane 85-71 in a top notch (518) hoop encounter. Adam Myers paced the Cadets with 25 points.
The Cadets finished the game with clutch play as they got the better of Ichabod Crane by 6-points in crunch time.
La Salle played crisp right from the jump and sprinted out to a decent first quarter lead 22-7. They put a stop to their opponent with a spectacular defensive effort and grabbed control of the frame. Yet, The Riders perked up in the second quarter and outscored La Salle by 11 points.
The two squads struggled to grab a foothold as the teams went to the first half recess with La Salle nosing in front.
La Salle were benefitted by a robust performance in the third quarter and outscored Ichabod Crane by 4 points.
La Salle were in command at every period closing whistle by margins of 15, 4, 8, & 14.
Both clubs did their best to get easy hoops in a coast to coast type of game.
