Bishop Gibbons beat Middleburgh 87-46 in a WAC basketball match up. Josh Pigliavento and Nate Wylie combined to score 47 points for the Golden Knights. The Golden Knights rode the coattails of their steady second half play as they led at the end of the first twenty-four minutes of action and at the last tick of the clock.
Bishop Gibbons maximized their potential in the second half as they played superb in the win.
The Golden Knights played solid in the second frame turning a 5-point first quarter deficit into a 7-point halftime edge. However, Bishop Gibbons capitalized on a determined performance and led 61-37 headed to the fourth quarter.
