Shaker took the victory in a workman like manner vs. Saugerties 47-33 in a high energy non-league battle. Emily Satterday was an offensive force for the Blue Bison going off for 21 points. The Blue Bison relied on their unwavering second half play as they led at the end of the third period and at the final flip of the hourglass.
Shaker used a monster second half as they were laser focused in victory.
The Blue Bison concluded the tilt with clutch play as they outscored Saugerties by 9-points at the pivotal point in the game.
The opening two quarters were ultra competitive as the teams went to the first half locker room break with Saugerties nudging ahead. The Sawyers performed effectively in the second quarter turning a 4-point first quarter deficit into a 4-point halftime advantage.
The Blue Bison exhibited great effort out of the locker room, after being behind at the half, and grabbed an advantage of 33-28 going into the final quarter.
