Catskill snatched the win over Mohonasen 64-45 in a hard fought Section 2 basketball duel at the Kirvin Cup tournament at Mohonasen. Haye led the victors with 24 points.
Catskill held a small 3-point lead at the start of the second quarter.
The Cats capitalized on gritty play in the third quarter and outscored Mohonasen by 10 points.
Catskill were in front at each period ending horn by advantages of 3, 6, 16, & 19.
The Cats placed three in double figure scoring. Haye sparked the offense for Catskill with 24 points. Brantley racked up 14 points. Gibbs finished with 11 points.
The Cats connected on 5 baskets from behind the three point line.
Andrew Farnsworth led the Mighty Warriors with 15 points. Kyle Cornell added 15 points.
