Ichabod Crane snatched the win over Tamarac 51-32 to win the Maple Hill holiday tournament.
The Riders secured the win in great form as they overshadowed the Bengals by 9-points in crunch time.
Both teams scratched and clawed to score the ball in the opening quarter as they combined for barely 11 points.
Ichabod Crane held a slim 3-point margin going into the second frame.
The Riders used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Tamarac by 4 points.
Ichabod Crane were in front at all quarter stoppage by advantages of 3, 6, 10, & 19.
The Riders had a trio in double figure scoring. Carolina Williams paced the Riders with 17 points. Ashley Ames contributed 13 points. Malati Culver scored 10 points. Delaney More finished with 6 points.
Phillips took control of the offense for the Bengals with 10 points. Farai secured 5 points. Custiglione collected 4 points. M. Hayden tallied 4 points.
