Hoosic Valley slipped past Maple Hill 69-67 in what turned out to be a tremendous encounter of Section 2 basketball clubs. Logan Reilly and Isaiah Eckler combined to score 44 points helping the Indians capture the Maple Hill holiday tournament title.

Thirty-two minutes wasn't enough as the game went to overtime where Hoosic Valley outscored Maple Hill 11-9. That spurt ultimately sealed the win.

The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half locker room break with the game tied 28-28.
The Wildcats utilized excellent teamwork out of the locker room, after the game being played to even across the board at the half, and took the lead 49-42 approaching the end of the final quarter.

Logan Reilly showed the way for the Indians with 24 points. Isaiah Eckler poured in 20 points. Jeff Finkle connected on 8 points. Lane Carner accounted for 8 points.

The Wildcats had a trio of players in double figure scoring. Brady Cole was a catalyst for Maple Hill with 23 points. Ethan Harrington secured 17 points. Ben Marra collected 15 points. Luke Hoffman connected on 8 points.
