Averill Park tipped Albany 65-49 in a preeminent Suburban Council hoop run-in. Amelia Wood was putting 'em on skates for the Warriors as she made her impact felt on the game with 26 points.

The Warriors stormed out of the locker room and bolted out to a significant first quarter lead 15-7. They used a lock down mentality protecting their basket and imposed their will in the quarter.

Averill Park jumped out to a comfortable margin at the break 37-22.The Warriors performed well in the second period turning a 8-point first quarter lead into a 15-point halftime edge.

The Warriors played with purpose in the third quarter and outscored Albany by 4 points.

Averill Park were on top at all quarter buzzer by plus 8, 15, 19, & 16.

The Falcons regained traction in the second half but they came up short.

Amelia Wood took control of the offense for the Warriors with 26 points. Bailee Lange racked up 15 points. Taylor Holohan collected 8 points.
The Warriors used expert marksmanship to make 4 baskets from behind the three point line.
Averill Park shot stellar from the free throw line as they made 70%, 7 of 10.

MeChalle Cancer led the Falcons with 22 points. Azera Gates knocked down 13 points.
The Falcons shot outstanding from the charity stripe as they produced 66.7%, 10 of 15.
