Voorheesville tripped up Cohoes 60-35 in a Colonial Council match up. Voorheesville rode the coattails of their dependable second half play as they led at the end of the first twenty-four minutes of action and at the concluding flip of the hourglass.
The Blackbirds used a monster second half as they coasted to victory.
Voorheesville finished the game with authority as they outscored the Tigers by 12-points at the pivotal moment of truth.
The Tigers seemed focused right from the jump and played excellent team basketball on their way to a nice first quarter lead 13-5. They used a lock down mentality protecting their basket and were in command during the frame. Yet, Voorheesville bounced back in the second quarter and outscored Cohoes by 11 points.
The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half recess with Voorheesville out in front. The Blackbirds performed well in the second stanza turning a 8-point first quarter deficit into a 3-point halftime advantage.

Julia Marcil paced the Tigers with 9 points. Quincy Hytko got in the book with 8 points. Shea Bryant poured in 7 points. Madison Huneau tallied 7 points. Carli O Hara sank 4 points.
