Albany Academy beat Ichabod Crane 57-42 in Colonial Council action.
The Bears used an impressive first eight minutes and sprinted out to an ample first quarter lead 16-7. They used their eye-catching defensive prowess and grabbed control of the frame. Yet, Ichabod Crane recovered in the second quarter and outscored Albany Academy by 5 points.
The two squads struggled to grab a foothold as the teams went to the first half break with Albany Academy gaining the upper hand.
The Bears were benefitted by a robust performance in the third quarter and outscored Ichabod Crane by 7 points.
Albany Academy were in control at each quarter stoppage by advantages of 9, 4, 11, & 15.
The Bears had a trio in double figure scoring. Bella Vincent took control of the offense for Albany Academy with 17 points. Erin Huban contributed 14 points. Morgan Vien scored 10 points. Saige Randolph popped in 9 points.
