Hoosick Falls used a strong defense to stop Hoosic Valley 46-26 in Wasaren League hoop action.

The Panthers played solid as a rock in the second period turning a 4-point first quarter lead into a 9-point halftime advantage.

Hoosick Falls capitalized on gritty play in the third quarter and outscored Hoosic Valley by 10 points.

The Panthers were in control at all quarter stoppage by separations of 4, 9, 19, & 20.

Amber MacNeil took control of the offense for the Panthers with 13 points. Marley McLellan powered in 12 points. Olivia Estes collected 8 points. Mackenna Roberson connected on 7 points.
Hoosick Falls connected on 4 baskets from downtown.

The Panthers shot with skillful form at the charity stripe as they produced 70.6%, 12 of 17.
