Shenendehowa tipped Averill Park 52-36 in a lively Capital Region basketball match up. Mason Courtney helped the cause for the Plainsmen with 19 points.

The offenses really got it rolling in the opening quarter as they combined for a potent offensive display 32 points. But, The Plainsmen played crisp right from the jump and darted in front to gain a hefty first quarter lead 19-13.

The Warriors were outscored 33-20 at the half. The Plainsmen played team basketball in the second period turning a 6-point first quarter lead into a 13-point halftime advantage.

Shenendehowa were in front at each period ending horn by splits of (+) 6, 13, 14, & 16.

The Warriors turned up the heat in the second half but they came up short.

Mason Courtney led the Plainsmen with 19 points. Andrew Massaroni got in the book with 9 points. Robby Hicks accounted for 6 points.
The Plainsmen buried 11 hoops from behind the arc.

Max O Connor helped the cause for the Warriors with 13 points. Nicholas Galuski poured in 6 points. Andy McCart tallied 5 points. Brady Mazzeo accounted for 4 points.
