Gloversville pulled away from South Glens Falls 52-39 in a Foothills Council basketball match up. Kendra Lavery and Harmony Philo combined to score 43 points for the victors.
Gloversville held a small 3-point lead going into the second frame. The Dragons played sound basketball in the second quarter turning a 3-point first quarter lead into a 9-point halftime edge.
The Dragons used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored South Glens Falls by 7 points.
The Dragons were on top at every quarter buzzer by margins of 3, 9, 16, & 13.
Kendra Lavery paced Gloversville with 23 points. Harmony Philo racked up 20 points. Daley Jo Christman finished with 7 points.
Harmony Philo nailed 3 three-pointers.
The Dragons shot outstanding from the charity stripe as they produced 75%, 9 of 12.
Hannah Breen led the Bulldogs with 11 points. Zoe Lanfear collected 7 points. Sydney Hart dropped 7 points.
