Maple Hill beat Albany Leadership 78-16 in Section 2 basketball play. Abby Utter paced the winners with 19 points.
The Wildcats poured it on in the second half and collected the victory.
Maple Hill had great energy right from the tip off and sprinted out to a hefty first quarter lead 22-3. They put together a lock down defense and took control of the quarter.
The Wildcats raced ahead after two quarters 40-10.
Maple Hill played well in the second quarter turning a 19-point first quarter lead into a 30-point halftime edge.
The Wildcats used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Albany Leadership by 19 points.
Maple Hill were in command at every quarter buzzer by margins of 19, 30, 49, & 62.
The Wildcats placed three players in double figure scoring. Abby Utter led the Wildcats with 19 points. Stacia Coyne poured in 14 points. Calie Haller dropped 10 points.
The Wildcats splashed 8 hoops from long range.
Abby Utter made 5 three-pointers.
J Galloway paced the Panthers with 8 points. D. Daniels powered in 3 points. J. Torres finished with 2 points.
