Saratoga slipped past Niskayuna 53-49 in a contest that most local experts expected to end with the culmination of two well coached teams clawing for every point. Carly Wise showed the way for the victors with 24 points.
The Blue Streaks used a fourth quarter surge as they bested Niskayuna 18-10 as time wound down. That final push proved to be the difference.

The opening two quarters were ultra competitive as the teams went to the first half stoppage with Saratoga gaining the upper hand.The Blue Streaks performed well in the second quarter turning a 3-point first quarter deficit into a 2-point halftime bulge.
The Silver Warriors put forth a team first approach that provided a spark coming out of the locker room, after they trailed at the half, which enabled them to commandeer the lead 39-35 heading towards the last quarter.
