Bethlehem suffered defeat to Burnt Hills by 9 points 56-47, in a premier match up in Section 2 basketball. Carlie Rzeszotarski played expectionally well on the attacking side of the floor for the winners going off for 18 points. Burnt Hills favorable outcome hinged on their unwavering second half play as they led at the end of the first twenty-four minutes of action and at the game ending flip of the hourglass.
The Spartans held a slim 3-point margin heading into the fourth quarter. This test of two ultra competitive teams was headed towards an epic finish through the first twenty-four minutes of action.
Burnt Hills ended the game with authority as they went past the Eagles by 6-points at the pivotal moment of truth.
The offenses really got it rolling in the opening quarter as they combined for a potent offensive display 37 points. But, Bethlehem stormed out of the locker room and sprinted out to an ample first quarter lead 22-15.
The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half locker room break with Bethlehem out in front.
