Mechanicville won a cliff-hanger versus Hoosic Valley 50-49 in an uber competitive game in the area. Colin Richardson was an offensive force for the Red Raiders made his impact felt on the game with 23 points.
The Red Raiders raced ahead after two quarters 33-20. Mechanicville performed well in the second period turning a 5-point first quarter lead into a 13-point halftime advantage.
Hoosic Valley clawed back in the final quarter but the seconds ticked away hurting any chance of a comeback.
