Middleburgh won an instant classic versus Northville 54-52 in what turned out to be a colossal encounter of Capital Region basketball sides. Andrew Johns paced the Knights with 24 points.

Middleburgh held a small 1-point lead going into the final frame. This duel kept fans on the edge of their seats through the third frame.

The Knights held a modest 3-point edge at the start of the second quarter.
The squads revved up the offenses and combined for a high octane 40 points in the second quarter. The opening two quarters were ultra competitive as the teams went to the first half intermission with Middleburgh gaining the upper hand.

The teams put on a defensive clinic in the fourth quarter as they combined for only 15 points.

The Knights were in command at every period ending horn by margins of 3, 1, 1, & 2.

Andrew Johns led Middleburgh with 24 points. Brendan Henry powered in 12 points. Will Bankston added 8 points.
Middleburgh buried 4 baskets from long distance.
Andrew Johns nailed 4 three-pointers.

The Falcons placed three players in double figure scoring. Nate Reidell paced the Falcons with 21 points. Jason Ellsworth poured in 11 points. T.J. Wadsworth totaled 11 points. Wyatt Sira popped in 6 points.
The Falcons splashed 7 baskets from downtown.
