Albany got the best of Guilderland 83-61 on the hardwood of Section 2 basketball. Isaiah Austin played expectionally well on the attacking side of the floor for the Falcons stepping up big-time with 28 points.
Albany held a modest 2-point edge at the start of the second quarter. The Falcons jumped out to a comfortable margin at the break 41-29.
Albany played with purpose in the third quarter and outscored Guilderland by 4 points.
The Falcons managed to be ahead at every quarter stoppage by margins of 2, 12, 16, & 22.
Albany placed three players in double figure scoring. Isaiah Austin took control of the offense for Albany with 28 points. Shadai Miller got in the book with 10 points. Malachi Perry accounted for 10 points.
