Averill Park took the victory in a workman like manner vs. Bethlehem 63-49 in a hard fought Capital Region basketball tilt . One team got the better of the other but don't be surprised if both of these teams do some damage down the road. 

Amelia Wood and Michelina Lombardi combined to score 40 points for the winners.

Defense reigned supreme in the 2nd quarter as the teams scored merely 17 points.

The offenses were scorching the nets in the fourth quarter as they generated a potent offensive display 42 points.

The Warriors managed to be ahead at all quarter stoppage by advantages of 4, 7, 10, & 14.

Amelia Wood put forth a strong offensive game for Averill Park with 22 points. Michelina Lombardi collected 18 points. Taylor Holohan had 9 points. Tatiana Tune sank 8 points.
Averill Park splashed 4 baskets from downtown.

Bethlehem had a triplet in double figure scoring. Maren Louridas paced the Eagles with 16 points. Caroline Davis got in the book with 13 points. Ellie Cerf accounted for 10 points. Paige Davenport totaled 8 points.
The Eagles shot stellar from the charity stripe as they produced 66.7%, 8 of 12.
