Lansingburgh notched a victory over Voorheesville 60-42 in a hard fought Section 2 basketball duel. T. Thomas was a serious problem on the offensive end for the victors leading the way with 22 points.
The Knights stormed out of the locker room and sprinted out to a decent first quarter lead 14-6. They restricted their opponent with a superb defensive effort and grabbed control of the frame.
Lansingburgh played with purpose in the third quarter and outscored Voorheesville by 7 points.
The Knights were in command at all period closing whistle by plus 8, 8, 15, & 18.
Lansingburgh had a trio of players in double figure scoring. T. Thomas led the Knights with 22 points. T. Johnson secured 12 points. K. Genevie poured in 10 points. C. Losee connected on 7 points.
