Tamarac won a nail biter versus Hoosick Falls 54-53 in what turned out to be a mammoth heavyweight bout of Section 2 hoop clubs. Both teams left it all on the court. E. Erickson paced the Bengals with 18 points.
Tamarac held a slight 4-point advantage at the start of the fourth quarter. This duel felt like a clash of the titans through the third quarter.
The Bengals seemed focused right from the jump and started the game in style racing to a nice first quarter lead 16-10.
Defense reigned supreme in the 2nd quarter as the teams scored only 17 points.
Offense out shined the defense in the third quarter as the teams combined for a high octane 41 points.
The Bengals were on top at every quarter buzzer by margins of 6, 7, 4, & 1.
