Colonie won in a tight fit versus Bethlehem 53-47 in one of the top games in the area. The players and coaches lived up to their pregame hype. Jayla Tyler and Macie Trimarchi combined to score 40 points for the winners.
The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half locker room break with Colonie nudging ahead.
Colonie used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Bethlehem by 7 points.
The Garnet Raiders were in control at every period closing whistle by advantages of 5, 2, 9, & 6.
