Holy Names seized a down to the wire victory over Troy 44-37. Ryan Carroll was an offensive force for the victors going off for 18 points. The Panthers relied on their steady second half play as they led at the end of the first twenty-four minutes of action and at the closing buzzer.
Troy held a slight 2-point advantage at the start of the second quarter.
The Panthers performed well in the second period turning a 2-point first quarter deficit into a 6-point halftime bulge.
