Catholic Central narrowly held off La Salle 87-78. Darien Moore and Seimir Roberson combined to score 58 points for the winners. The Crusaders success was built on their tenacious second half play as they led at the end of the first twenty-four minutes of action and at the final tick of the clock.
Catholic Central held a slim 2-point margin going into the final frame. This test of two ultra competitive teams was headed towards an epic finish through the first twenty-four minutes of action.
