Catholic Central slipped past Albany Academy 54-45 in an uber competitive game in the area. Brenna Graber played expectionally well on the attacking side of the floor for the winners leading the way with 22 points.
Both teams scratched and clawed to score the ball in the opening quarter as they combined for small margin of 15 points. But, The Crusaders were charged up from the opening whistle and bolted out to a decent first quarter lead 11-4. They relied on their stout defense and played with great enthusiasm throughout the frame.
The offenses fired on all cylinders in the fourth quarter as they generated a plethora of shot making skills 38 points.
