La Salle hung on vs. Colonie 68-60 in what turned out to be a mammoth encounter of Section 2 hoop cagers. Adam Myers put forth a strong offensive game for the Cadets with 27 points.
La Salle went off in a crunch time comeback as they bested Colonie 28-9 as the clock struck midnight. That run iced the game.
Focused play in the second half helped as the Cadets outscored Colonie 45-31 in the final two quarters. That was the opposite of the first half when Colonie built a 29-23 lead at the midway point.
Colonie held a modest 2-point edge at the start of the second quarter.
