Hoosick Falls won in a tight fit over Ichabod Crane 48-34 in a non-league Section 2 basketball collision. L. Thayne paced the winners with 39 points.
Hoosick Falls dominated the first half and led 29-17. The Panthers played as a complete unit in the second frame turning a 5-point first quarter lead into a 12-point halftime edge.
The Panthers used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Ichabod Crane by 4 points.
Hoosick Falls were in control at every period ending horn by margins of 5, 12, 16, & 14.
