La Salle outlasted Lansingburgh 72-68 in what turned out to be a great game between Colonial Council squads. Adam Myers helped the cause for the victors with 37 points. The Cadets success was built on their tenacious second half play as they led at the end of the first twenty-four minutes of action and at the closing buzzer.
The Cadets held a slim 3-point margin heading into the fourth quarter. This duel felt like a clash of the titans through the first twenty-four minutes of action.
Sparked by a great team effort in the second half La Salle outscored the Knights 40-30 in the final two frames. That was different as they flipped the script of the first half when the Knights built a 38-32 lead at the midway point.
