In spite of an excellent game by Derrick Pontore of Waterford, the Fordians suffered a setback versus Hoosic Valley 89-64. Pontore scored a game high 24 points. Logan Reilly paced the Indians with 18 points.

Hoosic Valley used an impressive first eight minutes and played excellent team basketball on their way to an ample first quarter lead 18-3. They used a lock down mentality protecting their basket and played with great enthusiasm throughout the frame.

The Indians found themselves in a great position at the midway point ahead 46-27.

Hoosic Valley capitalized on gritty play in the third quarter and outscored Waterford by 6 points.

Hoosic Valley were in control at all quarter buzzer by splits of (+) 15, 19, 25, & 25.

The Indians placed five players in double figure scoring. Logan Reilly paced the Indians with 18 points. Lane Carner added 16 points. Tyler Eddy totaled 16 points. Isaiah Eckler finished with 14 points. Isaac Wiley powered in 11 points.
The Indians connected on 11 buckets from long range.
Logan Reilly made 3 three-pointers. Isaiah Eckler added 3.

Derrick Pontore helped the cause for Waterford with 24 points. Howard Phelan secured 19 points. Lucas Cassin accounted for 8 points.
The Fordians shot with first-rate accuracy from the charity stripe as they made 79.2%, 19 of 24.
