Waterford dominated Northville 75-39 in Section 2 basketball play. Talavera led the winners with 26 points.
Waterford had great energy right from the tip off and sprinted out to a hefty first quarter lead 25-8.
The Fordians jumped out to a comfortable margin at the break 40-16. Waterford played solid as a rock in the second frame turning a 17-point first quarter lead into a 24-point halftime edge.
Waterford used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Northville by 8 points.
The Fordians were in command at every quarter buzzer by margins of 17, 24, 32, & 36.
Waterford had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Talavera paced the Fordians with 26 points. Valgorski secured 15 points. Fairclough collected 10 points. Kelley had 9 points. Castracani popped in 9 points.
The Fordians drilled 9 buckets from beyond the arc.
Talavera nailed 4 three-pointers.
Jason Ellsworth led the Falcons with 14 points. Wyatt Sira collected 11 points. T.J. Wadsworth tallied 9 points.
