Colonie suffered defeat to Albany by 8 points 53-45, in a Grade A match up in the area. MeChalle Cancer led the Falcons with 18 points. The Falcons relied on their dependable second half play as they led at the end of the first twenty-four minutes of action and at the final horn.
Albany held a small 1-point lead at the beginning of the second stanza.
The outcome was still in limbo as the teams went to the first half stoppage with the game tied 21-21.
