Niskayuna dominated versus Troy 49-29 in Suburban Council hoop action.
The Silver Warriors secured the win with marvelous execution as they surpassed Troy by 8-points in crunch time.
Niskayuna were strong out of the gate and bolted out to a hefty first quarter lead 14-4. They used a lock down mentality protecting their basket and played with great enthusiasm throughout the frame.
Niskayuna jumped out to a comfortable margin at the break 26-12.
The Silver Warriors were on top at every period ending horn by plus 10, 14, 12, & 20.
Kathleen Birmingham led the Silver Warriors with 17 points. Heather Schmidt contributed 12 points. Olivia O Meally connected on 8 points.
Makya Chapman put forth a strong offensive game for Troy with 9 points. Ava Mamone racked up 9 points. Solaris Nunez accounted for 6 points.
The Flying Horses drilled 4 hoops from behind the arc.
Ava Mamone nailed 3 three-pointers.
