Niskayuna conquered Guilderland 61-39 first round Class AA match up. Niskayuna advances to play Shenendehowa in the next round.
Niskayuna were charged up from the opening whistle and played excellent team basketball on their way to an ample first quarter lead 13-7. They impeded their opponent with a spectacular defensive effort and imposed their will in the quarter.

Niskayuna were charged up from the opening whistle and played excellent team basketball on their way to an ample first quarter lead 13-7. They impeded their opponent with a spectacular defensive effort and imposed their will in the quarter.
The Silver Warriors found themselves in a great position at the midway point ahead 39-20. Niskayuna played solid as a rock in the second stanza turning a 6-point first quarter lead into a 19-point halftime edge.
Niskayuna were in control at every period closing whistle by plus 6, 19, 20, & 22.
Niskayuna placed three in double figure scoring. Heather Schmidt led the Silver Warriors with 16 points. Kathleen Birmingham poured in 15 points. Jackie Reffelt tallied 14 points. Olivia O Meally finished with 7 points.
The Silver Warriors used expert marksmanship to make 4 buckets from long range.
Eva Gitto sparked the offense for Guilderland with 13 points. Bella Gitto secured 10 points. Destiny Pipino accounted for 7 points.
