Voorheesville defeated Mekeel Christian 72-20 in a Class B opening round tilt. They advance to play Ichabod Crane on 2/19/22. Mia Carmody was an offensive force for the Blackbirds leading the way with 25 points.
The Blackbirds poured it on in the second half as they coasted to victory.
Voorheesville were charged up from the opening whistle and sprinted out to an ample first quarter lead 14-4. They put together an imposing effort guarding the hoop and imposed their will in the quarter.
